Reason for Selling

No longer required

Based on the ROHM 34352EKV chipset, this DAC was purchased from The Audiophile Shop in January 2026, so it is basically new.

It has external clocking capability, which was one of the reasons I bought it, apart from the superb sound.

The reviews have been very positive.

No longer required as using the internal DAC from my streamer now

The fair market price for the SMSL D200 DAC in AUD is approximately $450–$520 for new units. This estimate derives from Australian retailer listings at $499–$500 AUD, converted conservatively from consistent US pricing of $319 USD (using a ~1.55 AUD/USD exchange rate implied by local pricing, as $319 USD equates to roughly $495 AUD).

### Typical Price Range
- New: $450–$520 AUD. Australian sellers like Audiophile Shop and Addicted to Audio list it at $499.99 AUD and $499 AUD, reflecting standard retail with free shipping options on orders over $99 AUD.
- Used: $350–$450 AUD (estimated). No direct user-reported used listings appear in recent data, but audio gear like this typically resells at 70–85% of new price on platforms like eBay or Gumtree, adjusted for low depreciation given its 2025/2026 relevance and positive reviews praising value.

### Key Factors Affecting Value
- Condition: New units command full price with warranty; used prices drop 15–30% based on cosmetic wear, accessories (e.g., remote, antenna), and functionality (e.g., Bluetooth testing).
- Location and Shipping: Australian pricing is ~55% higher than US ($319 USD) due to import duties, GST, and local distribution—buying locally avoids extra ~$50–$100 AUD in fees.
- Features and Demand: High-end specs (ROHM BD34352EKV chip, XLR/RCA outputs, MQA, LDAC Bluetooth, external clock input) drive value, with reviews calling it a "genuine winner" outperforming pricier DACs.
- Market Trends: Stable pricing in 2026 data; no widespread discounts noted, but bundles or sales could lower to $450 AUD. Limited stock (e.g., "sold out" flags) may push premiums.

Prices based on listings as of late 2026; check current retailers for fluctuations.
