Up for sale is a Sansui AU-555A, one of the legendary early-70s amplifiers from Sansui’s sought-after AU series. Known for its warm, detailed sound and beautiful build quality, this unit is a favourite among vintage audio enthusiasts and vinyl lovers. And it looks great!
Pick up much preferred, from Suffolk Park, right near Byron Bay.
Note: Bring your speakers to listen / test 😀 I only have one functioning speaker to plug into it right now, which is lovely but quite small.
- 20 watts per channel @ 8 ohms (don’t let the numbers fool you—plenty of punch for most speakers)

Condition:
Excellent working order. Minor cosmetic marks consistent with age, e.g. some very subtle marks on the top wood surface. Zoom in on the photos - they can likely be buffed out easily. Sounds and looks fantastic.

NB. Forgot to mention - little orange light doesn’t work, but an easy repair if you want to get it done or do it yourself..
