Auris Audio VIVACE Pre-Amplifier World Premiere
Auris was set to show its new VIVACE pre-amp at High End Munich 2020. Instead, the world premiere is here on StereoNET.
This year's High End Munich Show was to be the debut of the new €10,000 (or thereabouts) VIVACE pre-amplifier from Auris Audio. The Serbian-based company says that in creating the VIVACE, the latest innovative technology, as well as carefully selected premium components, were used and promises that experiencing it will be an extraordinary experience.
As we all know, the pre-amplifier central to any good system as it's what connects all the essential parts. Auris Audio says that the VIVACE is something you will want to have as a heart of your system.
Although the images we have is of the pre-production model and the fascia will change before it is ready for retail, the VIVACE certainly looks the part.
We are told that this reference line pre-amplifier boasts a trio of RCA stereo inputs as well as the same in balanced XLR flavour. Additionally, there is one set each of RCA and balanced XLR outputs.
Behind that typically curvy Auris Audio front panel are 2 x ECC99 and 1 x ECC88 tube sat in the aluminium chassis.
Auris Audio's plan was to have the VIVACE plugged into a pair of its Forte 150 monoblocks as seen in these pictures taken at Auris HQ. The powerful monoblocks are good for 100W RMS, we are told, in a push-pull configuration with a pair of KT150 octal beam tetrodes and a brace of 6SN7 dual-triode tubes.
We hope to hear that set-up as soon as we can.
