Originating in Switzerland, Boenicke Audio has a wide range of high-end loudspeakers, all of which sport its signature wooden finish.

Founded in 1998 by owner and Chief Designer, Sven Boenicke, the Basel based manufacturer is producing speakers that promise to sound as good as they look.

Never afraid to push the boundaries in materials, components and tuning aids used, the apparent result is a collection of speakers that capture the tone and harmonics of a live performance.

This achievement is undoubtedly partly due to Sven having spent many years working in concert halls recording performances. It is this experience that's been directly transmitted to his speakers' DNA.

David Graham, MD of Whole Note Distribution, told StereoNET:

I use Boenicke speakers in my own reference system, and have a great relationship with Sven whom I've known for a few years. When the opportunity to work together arose, I grabbed it with both hands.
