Sennheiser’s CX Plus True Wireless Boast All-Day ANC
Sennheiser's new CX Plus True Wireless earphones promise all-day Active Noise Cancellation as well as premium sound.
Sennheiser's new CX Plus True Wireless earphones feature the German-engineered TrueResponse transducer for audiophile sound, mated with Active Noise Cancellation that lasts all day.
On top of the promise of high-fidelity stereo sound with deep bass, natural mids and clear, detailed treble, Sennheiser's Transparent Hearing feature makes it easy to focus on external sounds when needed without removing the earbuds.
Joining the June-announced CX True Wireless, the IPX4 rated, splash resistant, CX Plus True Wireless sports Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility alongside SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Adaptive codec support for high resolution, low latency audio. Bluetooth connections can be easily managed via the Sennheiser Smart Control app, while the built-in EQ delivers a personalised audio experience and a “thumping” Bass Boost preset.
Thanks to the customisable touch controls, every interaction with the CX Plus True Wireless can be conducted effortlessly. You can even tailor bespoke commands to ensure that controlling audio, calls and accessing voice assistants are convenient and intuitive.
Each earbud is equipped with a pair of dual mics for crystal clear voice pick-up. The independent earbud use allows the right and left earbuds to be used individually or as a pair. Meanwhile, Smart Pause automatically pauses audio when the earbuds are taken out and instantly resumes playback when replaced.
Ensuring fatigue-free all-day enjoyment, the compact earbuds are bundled with four sizes of silicone ear adapters, which add further passive noise isolation to complement the earbuds' ANC.
Finally, the CX Plus True Wireless has all-day stamina thanks to its battery and portable charging case, providing an impressive 24 hours of playback time.
The CX Plus True Wireless is available in black or white from 28 September for £130/ €160
