RHA TrueControl ANC Earphones Announced

RHA adds Active Noise Cancellation and an accompanying app to its latest true wireless earphones.

RHA's TrueControl ANC true wireless earbuds bring together Qualcomm AptX Bluetooth as well as advanced active and adjustable noise cancellation to an ergonomically designed set of earphones.

Additionally, the Glasgow-based portable audio manufacturer has bestowed the true wireless earphones with 20-hours of battery stamina, advanced connectivity and the RHA Connect App that enables you to customise your listening experience, to the mix.

Powered by a custom 6mm driver, TrueControl uses passive noise cancelling alongside ANC tech to eliminate outside noise. Naturally, there are moments where you need to be more aware of your surroundings. In these instances, you can switch between ANC and Ambient modes whenever you need to. The level of ambient sound you let in is entirely adjustable, so you can tailor your immersion to wherever you are. Just hold the left earbud to activate Quick Aware: immediately pausing your audio and switching on full Ambient mode; simply release to return to ANC once you've heard your rail announcement or ordered your coffee.

As well as being able to tailor the ambient mode setting, you can use the RHA Connect app to adjust the EQ of the earbuds to suit your personal taste. Furthermore, you can customise button controls, change EQ balance, switch languages, update firmware – even find your earbuds if they get lost.

The natural contours of the TrueControl are designed to provide wearing comfort as well as passive noise cancellation by following the natural shape of your ear. Certified sweatproof and rain resistant to IPX4 standard, the earphones are supplied with seven pairs of RHA silicone and three pairs of aerospace-grade Comply Foam ear tips for a perfect moulded fit.

You get 5 hours of play time per charge, including ANC. The TrueControl has another 15 hours ready to recharge the earbuds via their protective charging case, that also boasts rapid charging skills. Refill the case via the provided USB-C cable, or by Qi wireless charging.
