We're told that the availability of Rega's System One all-in-one system was heavily delayed due to “exceptional demand on Planar 1 and Io amplifiers” over the past 18 months. Furthermore, after the demonstration at The Bristol Hi-Fi Show in March 2020, we all know what happened next. The lockdown(s) affected almost everything.

However, after once again expanding Rega HQ and introducing two new dedicated production areas, Rega System One is now available.

Rega System One is designed to be simple to set up, easy to use and deliver an authentic analogue experience straight out of the box. System One consists of the ever-popular Planar 1 turntable, the io amplifier, Kyte loudspeakers, along with all the cables you need to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of vinyl.

All three products promise perfect synergy. The io amplifier has a high-quality built-in phono stage, two line-level inputs and a 3.5mm headphone socket, offering plenty of connectivity options to expand your system even further if you so wish.

Available now for £1,199, Rega states that the UK will get System One before Christmas, with the rest of the world receiving orders throughout January 2022.
