Naim for Mulliner: bespoke hi-fi system created for the exceptional Bentley Batur by Mulliner.

Continuing a partnership spanning over fifteen years, Naim has created an exclusive Hi-Fi system for the Bentley Batur by Mulliner, the latest Mulliner model from the famous car manufacturer.

This is stated to be the fastest and most powerful Bentley has ever created, and they weren't going to skimp on the sound system. Backed up by Focal's unique sound expertise, Naim has poured its fifty years of audio innovation into creating a unique system: Naim for Mulliner.

This Bentley superpowered coupe features a 740-horsepower, twin-turbo W12 engine and has exclusivity built-in with only 18 cars made. Beyond its revolutionary technology, the Batur reflects the visions of both English brands: the road ahead for Bentley's future automotive models in terms of design and Naim's vision for on-board listening.

Naim's bespoke system for Mulliner was completed with help from VerVent Audio Group sister brand Focal and made in France at Focal's workshops. The speaker drivers benefit from the audio brand's renowned expertise and boast the sound signature produced by Utopia. According to Naim, its Mulliner system results from “10,000 hours of innovation developments inherited from both brands”.

We're told that engineers from both British brands worked together to define the best integration for the “M” profile speaker drivers with each speaker driver position being carefully chosen. Naim says that the result is that each driver delivers optimum performance, creating an uncompromising musical experience for all passengers.

The exclusive single-piece 'M'-profile aluminium/magnesium cone driver (no dust cap) promises rigidity, lightness and damping. Resulting in an extremely linear frequency response, a low distortion rate and better sound dispersion, says the brand. Meanwhile, the TAM tweeter was chosen for its “silky treble”, as well as its wide-angle diffusion benefitting 'off-axis' listening common in-car environments.

Naim for Mulliner: £25,000 hi-fi option developed exclusively for coachbuilt Batur by Mulliner, limited to just 18 cars.
