NAD promises that the T 758 V3i will be easy to use while still maximising on performance. The company underlines that, rather than purely concentrating on surround sound capabilities, it very much holds audio circuitry and sound quality as utmost priorities.

Of course, popular surround sound formats, including HD formats Dolby Atmos and DTS Master Audio, are decoded using the latest generation of high-speed multi-core DSP. Additionally, stereo source material can be converted to surround sound using the brand's EARS surround mode. Additionally, there's full support for High Res Audio formats such as MQA included in the BluOS Player.

The T 758 V3i also boasts NAD's exclusive PowerDrive amplifier featuring high current combined with high Dynamic Power to bring out the very best in any speaker.

Joe de Jesus, NAD AV and Custom Installation Product Manager told StereoNET:

NAD carefully evaluates how customers use our products and only includes the features that are essential for great audio and video performance. In addition, our Modular Design Construction feature offers the real benefit of being able to add new technologies as they become available, greatly enhancing the value proposition. So, with the T 758 V3i, we are excited to add AirPlay 2 to complement other key technologies such as Dolby Atmos, Dirac Live, 4K UHD Video and BluOS music streaming.

The T 758 V3i will play nicely with video at resolutions up to 3840x2160 pixels at 60 frames per second with 4:4:4 colour gamut and High Dynamic Range support. Analogue video sources are also supported on HDMI for simple 'one wire' connection to a flat screen or projector. You also get the expected HDMI features such as Audio Return Channel (ARC) and Consumer Electronic Control (CEC).

Making surround sound speaker set-up even easier is NAD Speaker IQ which is achieved by the supplied microphone and NAD remote control. Furthermore, the T 758 V3i employs Dirac's powerful Live Room Correction software. The built-in Dirac Live software measures the acoustic performance of the system within the listening room and optimises playback performance to provide the most transparent music reproduction possible. Again, this is an automated process that promises to result in the perfect listening environment.

Finally, the T 758 V3i houses BluOS wireless streaming technology, enabling you to stream lossless music from local libraries, tune in to Internet radio stations and access popular music streaming services all controlled from the BluOS Controller app. Also, the app enables you to group the receiver to other BluOS enabled components from NAD, Bluesound, DALI or Monitor Audio to create a whole home ecosystem.
The T 758 V3i is priced at £1299/ €1499 (MSRP) and begins shipping this month.
