MONITOR AUDIO GRABS BLOK
Essex-based hi-fi stand cobbler, Blok, has just been acquired by British speaker maker, Monitor Audio.
Monitor Audio Ltd has today announced its acquisition of Blok and states that this “is a perfect fit”, mostly due to “they all have a reputation for design excellence, superior product quality and exceptional value”.
Established in 2003, Blok is a well-respected manufacturer of meticulously crafted hi-fi stands, designed at their headquarters in Saffron Walden, Essex.
This move shouldn't really come as a surprise as Monitor Audio, who acquired Roksan in 2016, has previously used Blok stands to showcase its Roksan products and complement their speakers.
With the recent launch of its premium Gold Series of loudspeakers and the continued growth of its Custom Install range, Monitor Audio has had a successful start to 2019. The acquisition of Blok reflects this success.
The announcement states:
The synergy between the brands will create exciting possibilities for Monitor Audio, Roksan, Blok and their customers.
Blok makes a range of hi-fi racks priced between £350 and £470.
