Métronome Technologie Announces All-new Digital Sharing Centre

Métronome Technologie has announced its all-new DSC streaming DAC featuring pre-amplifier know-how from Leedh.
Métronome's DSC might have a familiar fascia but, behind that, everything has been updated and upgraded, according to the French high-end audio brand.
Digital Sharing is what Métronome calls streaming, and its new Digital Sharing Centre boasts 32 bits / 384 kHz dual-mono resolution and will decode PCM files and DSD up to 512 through the DAC DSCthe new streaming board accepts all types of audio files up to DSD256.
The DSC can be managed with any DLNA/UPnP apps, but the manufacturer recommends mConnect as it embeds the likes of Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, and vTuner for internet radio. Métronome's familiar 5-inch touchscreen display remains up front.
The digital pre-amp results from a partnership with Leedh Processing and is fully lossless, only modifying the signal amplitude without any further changes.
Jean Marie Clauzel, Owner and Designer of Metronome Technologie, told StereoNET:
Our Digital Sharing range has grown in popularity, showing that our choice to move the company to streaming was the right one. Plug-and-play, easy to use and stable, this is what we want with all our products, but as everyone knows, the famous Métronome sound will always remain our first priority.
The new Métronome DSC is equipped with a pair of USB ports and an Ethernet connector for networking while its HDMI I²S (PCM and DSD), two S/PDIF inputs, AES/EBU and Optical Toslink, can handle 44.1 to 192 kHz. The USB type B is good for PCM and DSD at 44.1 to 384 kHz. There are also RCA and XLR analogue outputs.
Power supply is via three toroidal transformers with fourteen independent regulation lines, states the brand.
All of this adds up to a 17kg component wrapped in an all-aluminium case that measures 430 x 105 x 430 mm (WxHxD).
Métronome's new DSC is available now for €24,990.
