MartinLogan’s Crescendo Wireless Speaker

Hi-end hybrid electrostatic maestro Martin Logan have released the 'Crescendo', a premium wireless speaker system based on the core inspiration behind every MartinLogan design.

According to MartinLogan, Crescendo is “a powerful and precise premium wireless speaker system, featuring dual audiophile quality Folded Motion™ tweeters and a 5x7-inch mid/bass woofer for a deep, extended bass response.”

The new tabletop wireless speaker reflects MartinLogan's approach to embracing modern technology, featuring Bluetooth (AptX), Wi-Fi, AirPlay and DLNA. It also features a Mac friendly US, built-in DAC and 3.5mm optical digital input.

MartinLogan being the style kings, Crescendo is a work of modern industrial design. It is built to resemble a half circle but with a horizontally flat facia on the top of the chassis, and comes in gloss black or real walnut veneer. The chassis is made from solid MDF. It's also supplied with an aluminium stand.

Amplification is provided by a Class D 100-watt RMS amplifier. The preamplifier also caters to the growing head-fi market with a preamplifier equipped with 24-bit/48hKz digital signal processor.

Driver compliment is by way of a 5x7” mid-bass woofer and twin Folded Motion tweeters. Crescendo also features a subwoofer output.

The Crescendo has been selling overseas for a suggest retail of $899.

Local pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed by Australian distributor, Audio Active.
