Marshall’s Emberton II Now Packs Bigger Punch

Iconic brand Marshall has updated its biggest selling speaker of all time. The second generation of the Emberton speaker now packs an even mightier punch than before to deliver the ultimate listening experience on the go.

Two 2-inch full-range drivers aided by two additional passive radiators deliver the sound Marshall is famed for, but don't underestimate the output just because of its compact size. By separating out the spatial content of stereo recordings, the company says, “Emberton II produces a sound much larger than its size and outperforms most speakers in its class”. Emberton II utilises True Stereophonic, a unique form of multi-directional sound from Marshall - stereo sound, but not as you've heard it before.

Experience superior spatial and binaural sound that flows around you and fills any space. This is absolute 360° sound – where every spot is a sweet spot.

The IP67-rated design, with a silicon exterior and solid metal grille, is tough and resilient. You can even submerge Emberton II in 1m of water for up to 30 minutes - more than enough time to fish it when it's been accidentally dropped in the pool!

Emberton II also offers 30+ hours of portable playtime on a single charge which is 50% more than its predecessor. Charging is simple: plug in your speaker and return to full battery in 3 hours. If you need a speedy top-up, Emberton II has a quick-charge feature, with only 20 minutes delivering a playtime of 4 hours.

Download the dedicated app if you want to find the right sound with equaliser presets, and to keep your speaker up to date with Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. Emberton II is straightforward to use, with a multi-directional control knob that allows you to play, pause, skip tracks, adjust the volume, and turn the speaker on or off.

Bluetooth 5.1 will keep you connected to your favourite streaming devices or platforms, while Stack Mode will allow you to amplify your sound with a multi-speaker session by connecting your speaker to other Emberton II speakers. To activate Stack Mode, just use the controls on the speaker  -stack as many Emberton II speakers as you like and create a sound as big as your imagination.

Marshall Emberton II is available now and has an RRP of £149.99.
