Lateral Audio Announces Cadenz Modular Hi-Fi Rack
Lateral Audio has announced its latest affordable performance audio stand range, the LAS-9 Cadenz series.
Lateral Audio's LAS-9 Cadenz hi-fi component support sports a modular design that, says the company, uses all available techniques to achieve a high-performance design at this price point.
Lateral Audio states that the surface design is perhaps the most crucial area of an audio stand. With this in mind, the LAS-9 features a “dissipation array” alongside weight reduction in critical zones. We are told the upshot is a fast transient response and low noise audio surface.
As audio components continue to boast ever-increasing performance levels at more affordable pricing, the manufacturer believes that “the audio stand becomes central to acheiving a great audio and musical experience”.
Spacing options between the 620mm x 455mm (WxD) shelves on the LAS-9 include 120mm, 160mm, 220mm, 280mm, allowing for the variety of heights that may be required for slimline player systems or larger audio source and amplification components. Additional tiers are always possible, and this enables good flexibility for future system setups. Weight capacity is 25kg on the upper levels and 30kg on the lower level.
The Lateral Audio LAS-9 Candenz is available now in a black low-sheen finish starting at £425 for a two-tier model, £595 for three tiers, with four levels costing £795, and five, £995. A white high-sheen finish is also available on request.
