InnuOS 2.0 Lands on Leema’s Sirius Streaming Server

InnuOS 2.0 lands on Leema Acoustics' Sirius audiophile-grade streaming music server.

It's no secret that the Sirius streamer from Leema Acoustics had some help from those digital audio boffins over at Innuos when it launched in 2018. However, the Welsh-built audiophile streaming server is once more benefitting from its Innuos DNA as it is all set to receive the InnuOS 2.0 operating system.

InnuOS 2.0 software is not only a new operating system, but it also brings a whole new desktop interface to the Leema streamer. Moreover, this will be the first time that the Sirius gets fully dedicated app control thanks to the all-new Innuos Sense app, which is available for both flavours of mobile devices.

Innuos Sense hands you control over selecting and playing music from the Sirius as well as various music streaming services. Additionally, it also enables metadata editing along with several other handy control features.

Naturally, existing owners can upgrade internet-connected devices immediately via the Sirius web portal at: Also, Leema Acoustics' technical support department is standing by should you encounter some difficulties.

This update makes the Sirius an even more attractive proposition on top of its high-end features, such as its server-grade main circuit board with a high-speed quad-core processor with up to 8 gigabytes of system memory and its TEAC optical drive for bit-perfect CD rips to the hard drive.

Furthermore, there's the high-quality ESS ES9038PRO Sabre DAC and Xmos USB interface. The DAC supports 16, 24 and 32 bit-depths, from 44.1 kHz to 384 kHz, with DSD 64, 128 and 256 also supported. A further nod to its audiophile credentials is the Sirius' dual Ethernet connection: one for routers and one for dedicated streamer connections.

The Leema Sirius is available now from £4,200 (for 2 TB).
