Grado Sound Now Truly Wireless

Renowned Brooklyn-based headphone maker, Grado Labs, has entered the true wireless earbud arena.

Grado has announced its GT220 true wireless in-ear headphones, its first offering into this particular market. Naturally, the New York company is no stranger to quality personal audio and proudly states that its tradition of putting sound first still stands in this lightweight design.

The GT220 earbuds sport 8mm drivers tuned for their miniature polycarbonate housings to deliver Grado's much-loved sonic signature and a claimed 20Hz-20KHz frequency response.
Each earbud weighs a featherweight 5g and comes with a choice of silicone ear tips and an innovative “twist to lock” movement that ensures a secure fit.
Battery life is a boast-worthy 6-hours with the GT220's Qi charging case adds a further five complete charges bringing the total playing time to 36 hours. Once they're low on go-juice, two hours fully replenish an empty tank using the bundled USB-C cable. You can also take advantage of Qi-compatible charging mats.

Control is via the touch-sensitive 'G' icon, and the GT220 earbuds are also compatible with Siri and Google Assistant.
With the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology and aptX and AAC codecs on board, the GT220 should provide a stable wireless connection and high-quality audio from your favourite hi-res services.
The Grado GT220 true wireless earbuds are available now priced £249.95.
