Eversolo Introduces Flagship DMP-A10 Powerhouse
Eversolo is unarguably one of the fastest-growing brands and hot products of 2024. Its latest release and highly anticipated new flagship product will likely continue this trend.
Eversolo says it “aimed for unparalleled sound reproduction” with the DMP-A10, which boasts music streamer, DAC, and Preamp functionality. Its 430mm standard width size features a 6.5-inch high-definition touchscreen and an innovative 1.28-inch circular display on the volume knob, showcasing album art or system status with luxurious visual enjoyment.
It is equipped with the ESS9039 Pro flagship DAC and dual linear power supplies, which the company says “effectively reduces noise and distortion, delivering a pure and exquisite listening experience”.
Eversolo's advanced dual OCXO clock system keeps the A10's audio oscillators (operating at 45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz) at a consistent optimal temperature, effectively eliminating frequency fluctuations due to temperature changes, resulting in “impressively low phase noise and jitter levels below 50fs” says Eversolo. Each oscillator undergoes rigorous testing to ensure accurate clock signals for the audio system, resulting in more clarity, detail and air in the sound.
The high-speed electrical isolation system effectively separates noise and interference between circuit boards. This design minimises disruptions to the audio circuits during signal transmission of the system circuit, achieving complete physical isolation and “outstanding audio clarity and precision”.
Designed for seamless integration with both current setups and future upgrades, the DMP-A10 offers a wide range of input and output interfaces. It supports multiple digital inputs, including two coaxial, two optical, HDMI ARC, and an isolated USB B input for connecting PCs and mobile devices. Plus, it can act as a pure digital transport via isolated USB ports, optical, or coaxial outputs.
The isolated USB audio input/output port is designed to eliminate interference from high-noise power sources and address grounding loop issues, ensuring that USB signals maintain exceptional quality with minimal noise and distortion. It also features a high-performance, fully balanced analog circuit that supports XLR/RCA analog inputs and outputs, allowing direct connection to active speakers or amplifiers. With +10dB analog gain and R2R analog volume control, it delivers ultra-low noise and distortion, significantly enhancing dynamic range and overall sound integrity.
The newly added Digital to Digital Converter (DDC) functionality enhances the DMP-A10's versatility. Digital signals can be output as SPDIF or analog after EQ adjustments, while analog inputs can be captured via high-spec ADC (up to 192kHz) and processed for output as either SPDIF or analog.
Additionally, users have the flexibility to connect one or two subwoofers or even disable the subwoofer function altogether. The DMP-A10 makes it easy to switch between MIXER and STEREO modes and independently adjust subwoofer gain, crossover frequency, and delay.
To offer a better control experience, the DMP-A10 redeveloped rich native music services via API, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, TuneIn, Radio Paradise, and more. It also supports cross-platform song search and functions as a home streaming hub, supporting TIDAL Connect, Squeeze Connect, DLNA, and UpnP protocols.
According to the company, Eversolo's new digital Room Correction technology adjusts frequency response based on room characteristics, eliminating unnecessary acoustics issues and providing more accurate sound reproduction.
The DMP-A10 offers robust music management capabilities and specifically supports large libraries. It supports playback and importing music files stored on NAS devices or network drives within the local area network. It also features dual SSD slots at the base, supporting easy installation of up to 2x4TB of storage, providing strong and stable support for local playback. With the added capability of connecting an external CD-ROM, the DMP-A10 can play and rip CDs, allowing users to consolidate their music collection for a gapless listening experience.
As Eversolo's flagship model, the DMP-A10 showcases exceptional design and engineerinng and will sell for £3,590/ €3,780 RRP.
