Elipson Unveils New Music Centre Connect HD

Elipson literally rounds off its Connected range with the new Music Centre.

Elipson Audio's Music Centre Connect HD is a new and improved version of their all-in-one system. It boasts an integrated amplifier, DAB/FM Tuner, CD player, Bluetooth, as well as the addition of Wi-Fi for multi-room and network streaming.

Connected speakers are pushed along by 2 x 120W powerful Class-D amplifiers featuring ICE Power technology. Sources are accommodated by a raft of input options, including twin RCAs, a mini-jack and optical input. You'll also find a pre-out connector for use with an optional second power amplifier, plus there's an MP3/ WMA USB and Ethernet connector.

Wireless inputs include aptX HD Bluetooth compatible with files up to 24- bit and Wi-Fi for playing “Hi-Res audio files in Solo mode or CD-quality audio files in Multi-room mode”, says the French audio brand.

Naturally, access to Qobuz, Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, Internet Radio etc., is available alongside the option to stream stored FLAC music files from your network.

Furthermore, if you like a bit more boom in your room, the Music Centre Connect HD also features a subwoofer output complete with an adjustable filter covering frequencies between 50 and 200 Hz.

In addition to the touchscreen user interface situated beneath the CD slot, the Elipson Connect App is available. The app also hands you the opportunity to connect the Music Centre Connect HD with other Elipson Connected products such as the Planet W35 speaker, Connect Wi-Fi receiver and Connect streaming amp.

Finally, the RDS DAB+/FM tuner adds the finishing touch to this very versatile receiver.

Elipson's Music Centre Connect HD has an SRP of £899 and becomes available later this month. Additionally, there is an optional gunmetal-finished stand featuring a cable path costing £149.
