Elipson Chroma 400 Turntables Get Wood

Elipson adds real wood finish options to its Chroma 400 range of turntables.
Elipson's Chroma 400 range of French-made turntables are now offered in oak or walnut real wood veneer finishes. Announced in July last year, Elipson's Chroma range certainly offers something for everyone, and with the new wood finish options for the Chroma 400, there's even more choice.
The standard Chroma 400 is the entry point to this particular turntable series and requires you to have an integrated amplifier equipped with a suitable phono stage or, indeed, a separate phono pre-amplifier to use with your system. This is joined by the Chroma 400 RIAA, which features a “high-end integrated phono stage” enabling it to be plugged directly into an amplifier. Meanwhile, the Chroma 400 RIAA BT is the range flagship which adds Bluetooth aptX HD capability allowing it to be used with Bluetooth speakers, and USB output for ripping your vinyl, to the phono stage of the 400 RIAA.
As with the existing high gloss finished models, all three of the new wood finished turntables will feature the company's carbon-fibre Orbital Torsion Tonearm and Ortofon OM10 cartridge as standard.
The Elipson Chroma 400 range is available now with the Standard Chroma 400 costing £480/ €500, the Chroma 400 RIAA phono coming in at £550/ €600 and the Chroma 400 RIAA BT priced at £600/ €700.
We are told that there is more exciting news to come from the French audio firm, so stay tuned.
