Electrocompaniet AW 300 M Mono Power Amplifier Announced
Electrcompaniet's AW 300 M follows the footsteps of its monstrous AW 800 M monoblocks, offering a more compact alternative.
The new AW 300 M power amplifier has been designed from the ground up as a mono-only model. It promises “a limitless soundstage, pinpoint precision, and room-filling low-frequency reproduction”.
This compact powerhouse follows the footsteps of the AW 800 M, promising a symphony of power and precision in a sleek package. Boasting 300 Watts of power into 8 Ohms, the AW 300 M features the Electrocompaniet direct-coupled high open-loop bandwidth topology, further enhanced with high slew rate (140 V/µs) and exceptionally high bandwidth amplifier stages, states the Norweigan brand.
Of course, the AW 300 M is unmistakably from Electrocompaniet as the new monoblock is wrapped in a design that seamlessly complements the aesthetics of both its contemporary and legacy products.
Electrocompaniet's AW 300 M monoblock power amplifiers will be first shown in Europe at the Warsaw HiFi Show on October 27–29 in room 209 at the PGE Narodowy hosted by HiFi Club.
The AW 300 M is ready for pre-orders, with shipping expected in early November, priced at £12,100/ €13,500 (per unit).
