Charisma Audio’s Vinyl Playback Range Landing in the UK

Canada's Charisma Audio can now offer its affordable wares to the UK's vinylistas.
Thanks to a new partnership with Sound Design Distribution (SDD), Charisma Audio's widely acclaimed vinyl replay range is now available in the UK.
Having built a reputation for excellence in hi-fi system design over twenty years, Charisma offers a proprietary range of MC cartridges, phono stages and turntable components.
Although the company now represents many of the most respected Hi-Fi brands in its home country, it reserves special affection for its proprietary designs.
Since 2000 Charisma Audio has offered its sensibly-priced vinyl replay components by specifying and procuring parts from expert manufacturers worldwide.
Charisma Audio produces its own MC, Reference and Signature Series of moving coil cartridges, Musiko Phono Stage and Musiko Turntable, Tone Arm, and Tone Arm cable - which is also available as a complete assembly.
Still guided by its founder, Bernard Li, who for over fourteen years was a contributing editor of 'Audiotechnique' (Hong Kong's leading audio magazine), Charisma Audio is a company built around a twenty-five-year love for vinyl.
SDD's Andy Baker told StereoNET:
Charisma Audio will prove to be a fantastic complement to the SDD product line-up, allowing our dealers to add audiophile vinyl replay capability to the fabulous talents of Kii Audio, Mola-Mola, Lumin, Grimm Audio and Accusound.
As of July 1st (Canada Day), Sound Design Distribution's retail partners will be able to offer the Charisma MC cartridge range and Musiko phono stage. These will be joined by the Musiko turntable/components and the new lower-cost ECO MC cartridge a month later. When complete, the Charisma range will offer options from £695 to £5,500 retail.
