Bluesound Introduces the HUB Network Accessory
Bluesound, the award-winning hi-res wireless multi-room line of audio players, has just expanded the platform's versatility with its announcement of the HUB.
The Bluesound HUB allows any non-BluOS enabled audio source, such as a turntable, CD player, or even your TV audio, to become network-connected and streamed throughout your home. Equipped with BluOS, naturally, the HUB makes adding audio sources simple using the BluOS Controller app setup wizard. A few taps on the familiar BluOS app controls a whole multi-room system from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
HUB offers a host of inputs on the back panel, including HDMI eARC, Coaxial, Digital Optical, Stereo Analog, and a moving magnet Phono stage. Each HUB manages one source, and up to four HUBs can be added to a single network.
The addition of the MM phono stage preamp is a welcome addition for many users, delivering audio from your turntable to any Bluesound player for whole-home turntable streaming.
Expected to be available from mid-June, the Bluesound HUB will sell for £309/ €349 RRP.
