Audio-Technica's Sound Burger is filled with retro goodness, and the go-anywhere deck made a return for the audio brand's 60th-anniversary celebrations in 2022. We are told that these sold out in a matter of days which had Audio-Technica state that there will be a new run coming this year with some additional colour options.

We can now share with you the 2023 release date of the Audio-Technica Sound Burger, aka AT-SB727, so you can prepare to bring your vinyl out to accompany your next barbecue or set up in a friendly beer garden.

Audio-Technica says it has remained true to the unmistakable 1980s aesthetic that made the Sound Burger an icon of the decade's vinyl scene. Adding that the new colours are directly inspired by the shades first seen all those years ago, giving fans another chance to own a piece of music history.

Furthermore, the Sound Burger has been updated with a host of modern trappings, including Bluetooth wireless audio for cable-free connectivity and a USB-C port for a seamless charging experience.

Available from today, 31st May 2023, the Sound Burger in black or white will cost you £199.99/ €229 with a yellow version following this “summer”.
