Audio-technica Releases ATH-CKS50TW True Wireless Earbuds

Audio-technica says its new ATH-CKS50TW true wireless in-ear headphones match high-fidelity sonic performance and enhanced bass with noise-cancelling and app support.
The ATH-CKS50TW is Audio-technica's latest true-wireless in-ear release and its first to combine solid bass acoustic technology with active noise-cancelling. Using 9mm large-diameter drivers, the headphones are said to provide a deep and powerful performance and excel in bass response. Thanks, in part, to the airtight and secure fit improving sound isolation. This enhances the bass further and prevents the earbuds from falling out of the ears, even during workouts. With an IPX4 waterproof rating, they're even built to handle splashing water from all directions with no problems.
For a fully immersive listening experience, the ATH-CKS50TW also features 360 Reality Audio using Sony's object-based 360 Spatial Sound technology.
For the first time ever, Audio-technica included noise-cancelling in a solid bass headphone which can be activated using one of the buttons located on the headphone or the Audio-Technica Connect App. The app also allows users to customise button functions, activate the hear-through mode, adjust the equaliser to their taste, and even locate missing headphones.
With up to 20 hours of continuous playback and an additional 30 hours if used with the charging case – you'll have up to 50 hours of playback capability before a recharge is required. Additionally, the fast-charging option yields 90 minutes of playback after a brief 10 minutes of charging.
Each earpiece is equipped with a button to start and stop playback, skip songs, and take calls. With the 'hear-through' function, with the click of the left button, the built-in microphones record and playback the ambient sound for better awareness of the surroundings.
Audio-technica's ATH-CKS50TW can also be paired with more than one device simultaneously, allowing the listener to switch between them without disconnecting.
The headphones use Qualcomm cVc (clear voice capture) Generation 8.0, which cancel echo and suppress ambient noise during phone calls. Another incredible piece of software integrated into the ATH-CKS50TW is the Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring. Only one earpiece is directly connected to the device via Bluetooth 5.2, while the other mirrors the sound. When the connected earpiece is turned off, the other automatically connects to the device. This allows for a more energy-saving and stable operation.
Available now, the Audio-technica ATH-CKS50TW sells for £149.99/ €169 RRP.
