CHORD ELECTRONICS & KHARMA COMBINE FOR $350K+ DEMONSTRATION

October 15, 2019
Chord Electronics and Kharma will harmoniously partner at this year's StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi Show for a two-channel demonstration that stacks up to over $350,000 in total.

Chord Electronics's new state-of-the-art Ultima 2 750 watt mono amplifiers ($80,000 each) will be connected to the Kharma Exquisite Classique Signature speakers which sell for between $180,000 to $225,000 depending on the configuration.

Chord's CPA500 ($27,000) will act as the Reference Preamplifier, while the award-winning DAVE ($17,000) and Blu2 ($16,000) will complete the digital chain.

Not forgetting vinyl, Soundsmith's Strain Gauge phono cartridge ($13,500) will extract the detail from records spinning on an Acoustic Signature Storm Mk2 turntable fitted with a TA5000 tonearm ($19,000). Don't forget to book a free spot for the Soundsmith seminar here.

This display is made possible by Australian distributor Radiance AV. Their room was an absolute stand out at last year's show with many reporting that Frank Sinatra had been reincarnated to personally sing in their room (the record was very, very good!).

Chord Electronics' Digital Audio Guru, Robert Watts, will also be on hand for timed presentations across the three days. Watts is the man behind some of the worlds best and most innovative FPGA digital architecture as used in Chord DACs.

UK-based Chord Electronics have set a benchmark in digital audio over the last seven years, and their latest releases are set to continue that trend.

Watts will present the latest Chord amplification - ULTIMA 2 amplifiers, and talk about his digital audio designs. Demonstrations and discussions, your questions answered, and of course some fantastic tunes - but you will need to book a free spot here.

This is the ultra-high-end of luxury audio folks, and the opportunity to spend time in the Park Room listening to this audio system will be worth the admission fee.

The StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi Show opens at noon this Friday 18th October and concludes Sunday 20th October at 5 PM.

Last chance to book discounted online tickets.

Countdown to the next show!
