Wilson Audio Alexx V Coming Soon

Wilson Audio has teased the upcoming launch of its Alexx V loudspeakers which, by all accounts, takes plenty of design cues from the famous WAMM Master Chronosonic.
Wilson Audio's Alexx V is set to launch on March 29th and, as the name suggests, will be an upgrade to the current Alexx loudspeakers.
We are told that Daryl Wilson and the team approached the Alexx V as a whole new speaker and took advantage of all the company's research and development results over the past five years since the Alexx's launch in 2016, applying these to the elements that worked well on the original design.
Just as the original Alexx benefited from several elements developed during Wilson Audio's founder David A. Wilson's and his R&D team's work that brought to life his magnum opus: the WAMM Master Chronosonic, the Alexx V builds upon this further. The promised result is a better-engineered performance without having to massively increase the speaker's footprint. We have heard that Alexx V is only 1-inch deeper and taller while maintaining the same width.
We can also expect the Alexx V to inherit Wilson Audio's latest design language ushered in the WAMM Master Chronosonic and seen on the jaw-dropping Chronosonic XVX. Alexx V will sport an open gantry design that apparently not only allows for more structural rigidity and setup flexibility but also provides a more free-flowing organic look.
The Wilson Audio Alexx V is due to be launched on March 29th, with pricing rumoured to be US$135,00 | S$170,000.
