Bowers & Wilkins adds Pandora and TIDAL HiFi streaming services to the latest version of its Music wireless headphone and speaker companion app.

Bowers & Wilkins has added Pandora – supporting music streaming and podcasts in the USA – and TIDAL HiFi Plus, with access to thousands of tracks in 24-bit high-resolution FLAC quality to this latest evolution of the British brand's Music app.

Bowers & Wilkins Music App Update 2023

Introduced in 2021, the Bowers & Wilkins Music app initially offered direct music streaming support for Dash Radio, Last.fm, Qobuz, TIDAL, TuneIn, NTS Radio and SoundCloud. Recently, podcast services and Sony Hi-Res have joined the platform, further expanding its accessibility worldwide.

The Music app provides all set-up and control functionality for Bowers & Wilkins wireless products into one unified set-up, control and streaming experience. It now supports every wireless speaker in the Formation portfolio, plus the Panorama 3 sound bar and the iconic Zeppelin. All products can be set up and controlled using the same Music app interface and seamlessly share music between devices in a whole-home multiroom music system if desired.

In addition, the Music app controls every app-enabled Bowers & Wilkins headphone or earbud, from the PX to the latest Applause Award-winning Px7 S2e and Px8 models.

Although unavailable within the Music app, Apple Music and Spotify are catered for via AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect support in Bowers & Wilkins wireless speakers and Bluetooth compatibility in Bowers & Wilkins headphones.

Bowers & Wilkins Music App Update 2023

The Music app platform is wholly owned by Bowers & Wilkins, and the brand plans to continue to invest in and expand the capabilities of its Music app-enabled product portfolio to both further improve the user experience and add new features.
