NEW FIIO M7 HI-RES DIGITAL AUDIO PLAYER COMES IN FOUR COLOURS

FiiOphiles, and there are many of them, are hanging out to get their mitts on the new FiiO M7 music player.
A cursory look at the features shows the M7 is worth waiting for.
As well as being a Hi-Res model, the M7 carries a thoroughly modern Samsung Exynos 7270 SoC core. So the grunt is provided by a pedigree core from a manufacturer that knows how to do things.
Buyers will also get the benefit of the M7’s state-of-the-art 6-layer multi-stage Blind and Buried circuitry via PCB technology.
Hi-fidelity wireless is also part of the feature set, and moreover, the M7 supports aptX-HD and LDAC audio codecs.
Those that want to pair with FiiO’s Q5 or Q1 MKII portable headphone/DACs can do it via a USB digital output connection or Bluetooth.
Chip chosen for the M7 is the rather elite level ESS Sabre 9018 chip that FiiO says sounds sublime.
Also handy, when it’s time to tune in to a bit of radio for easy listening on a commute, it’s a case of simply choosing the FM setting on the M7’s drop-down menu.
Battery life when you’re on the go is said to be about 20 hours with a standby time of up to 40 days.
Features can be accessed via a 3.2-inch 480x800 pixel display screen that has image zooming support.
Internally, the M7 has 2GB of storage and this can be boosted up to 512GB using a single micro SD card.
The M7 also has a Type-C USB port.
The M7 is available now in Black, Silver, Red or Blue finishes and it costs a very reasonable $349.95 in New Zealand.
