HiFi Rose RS250 High-Quality Audio Streamer/ Pre-amp Now Available

Boasting a high-performance ESS9038 flagship DAC, high-precision femto clock, and linear power supply feeding the Hexa Core CPU and audio output circuits, the RS250 promises audiophile-quality streaming with support for up to 32-bit / 768KHz (PCM) and DSD512 (Native DSD) playback.

The fascia is dominated by an 8.8-inch wide LCD multitouch screen with a wide viewing angle wrapped in a high-quality aluminium body.

The HiFi Rose dubs the RS250 as a “digital hub and pre-amplifier”, and it comes with Airplay, Roon Ready, and Spotify Connect streaming included. Furthermore, Qobuz and TIDAL apps are already integrated with the full decoding of MQA for Tidal Masters. Streaming connectivity comes courtesy of Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth 4.0 (AD2DP SINK, AVRCP v1.3). So naturally, music stored on your network can also be found and played through the high-spec streamer. Further inputs are taken care of by one each of line, optical, coax and USB audio.

Working as a pre-amp, the RS250 also features a range of outputs, including RCA, optical, coax, USB audio, along with a headphone socket. Additionally, HDMI 2.0 (up to 3840 x 2160 / 60Hz) hands the RS250 video output skills, too. The 4K compatible HDMI connection enables content from the Video, Rose Tube and TIDAL apps and provides playback information and album artwork when listening to songs in the MUSIC app.
