Electrocompaniet EC Play v2.2 Announced
Electrocompaniet has updated its EC Play app to include multi-language and tablet landscape orientation support.
Electrocompaniet's EC play app controls the Norweigan audio brand's range of EC Software Engine-powered network audio streamers, speakers, and integrated amplifiers. Today the manufacturer announces enhancements to its apps as it continues to strive to ensure its customers enjoy listening to their music collections in a variety of different ways, as it has done for almost half a century.
EC play is compatible with the Tana SL2 Speaker and streamer, ECI 6 DX MKII Integrated Amplifier, DAC and streamer (above) and ECM 1 MKII Network Streamer (below) in the current Electrocompaniet line-up.
Version 2.2 brings with it support for German, Norwegian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Hungarian, Turkish, Russian, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese. Also, we are told that more languages will be added soon.
Additionally, iOS and Android tablets get support for Landscape orientation which gives users a further navigation option.
Furthermore, v2.2 also paves the way for more updates coming very soon, as well as those all-important bug fixes that generally get bundled in software releases.
Naturally, the update will be available free of charge for both iOS and Android-based devices over the coming days.
As well as those current products mentioned earlier, EC Play 2.2 also supports several legacy products from both the EC Living Line and Classic Line, including the Tana SL1, Rena SA1 and S1, ECM 1 and ECU 6 DX.
Stay tuned for more EC Play updates coming soon from Electrocompaniet.
