BEYERDYNAMIC’S AMIRON WIRELESS HEADPHONES RELEASED

Beyerdynamic is into personalised sound. To show what that means the German headphone specialist has revealed a new wireless version of its acclaimed Amiron headphones.
Not holding back the superlatives, Beyerdynamic stressed that vibrant melodies, pulsating rhythms, driving bass, in short music and movement, go together.
You just have to love the enthusiasm accompanying the release of the Amiron Wireless.
But there’s more to the Amiron than quick, cable-less dance moves. Especially as the Amiron Wireless carries the legendary Tesla transducers developed by the brand.
Elsewhere, the Amiron Wireless works with a new, unique MIY app that takes the Amiron model to the “stellar heights of personalised perfection.”
Beyerdynamic worked with the German experts at Mimi Hearing Technologies in Berlin to design the Amiron. The mission was to build a headphone that adapts perfectly to the individual hearing of the wearer much like a tailor-made suit.
The MIY app that works with Android and iOS devices can be used to map out and store an individual hearing profile via a special hearing test based on Mimi’s research.
The app can also preserve your hearing because wearers can track their daily listening habits and act accordingly. We're big fans of the MIY-enabled headphones here at StereoNET with a pair of Aventho Wireless headphones taking up permanent residence on our desktop.
The Amiron Wireless is the latest in a series of phones that includes the previously released Aventho and Xelento models.
The Bluetooth enabled Amiron Wireless has a touchpad integrated into the right earcup and a built-in microphone.
Available online and in stores now, the Amiron Wireless sells for NZD $1,199 RRP.
