Learn how to send wireless audio to an active sub using WiiM.

Our setup:

- WiiM Pro Plus connected via RCA to

- Airpulse A100 active bookshelf speakers

- WiiM Mini connected via RCA to

- Airpulse SW8 active subwoofer

***When connecting please ensure the volume/gain is completely down on both the speakers & the subwoofer.

Now with your speakers and subwoofer connected follow these simple steps:

1. Add both WiiM devices using the WiiM Home App. Open settings for the WiiM device connected to the sub & select EQ.

2. Use the Graphic EQ to reduce all frequencies above 63Hz by -12dB. Alternatively, use the Parametric EQ for even more control. This will allow you to choose exactly which frequencies to cut.

3. Now from the device tab, link both WiiM devices. You will now have both group + independent volume control of your speakers & sub.

4. Dial up the volume/gain on the sub & speakers (start on a low setting & increase as needed). Play a bass heavy track using the WiiM Home App to check is audio is synchronized. If audio isn’t synced perfectly, this can be easily adjusted in settings, synch audio, manual synch.

5. Finally adjust the manual settings of your subwoofer to your liking. Depending of the subwoofer this usually includes setting the crossover, phase and volume. If unsure, check your subwoofer's user manual.

And that's all there is to it! You can now place your subwoofer anywhere (with power & Wi-Fi connection).
