Description

Talk Talk's Mark Hollis was that rare and elusive musician who let his music speak for him,  forged his own path in the music industry and never chased fame, or fortune. A trailblazer - he laid the path for bands like Radiohead to just create music for your own enjoyment above all else.

I was tremendously saddened and it affected me badly when I heard of his passing in 2019. A writer of some of the best songs of the last 40 years with a voice that could make grown men weep, here is a recently unearthed interview for Scandi TV that was uploaded to YouTube a few days ago and gives an incredible and very rare insight into the man's creative mind. For anyone reading this, you will probably be aware of some of the more commercially successful tracks of Talk Talk's discography, but I would urge anyone to listen to the album "Spirit of Eden".
