So exactly what features does facebook have that stereo.net.au doesn't? I can "like" posts, "friend" people and post pictures of cats and speakers :-) I get more response to the speaker pictures here though.

This thread has been started for the purposes of talking about cats and to make SNA an even more complete site, after all, even in the pre-internet days the joke was that Usenet was invented in order to talk about cats. For the purposes of definition, the thread about cats sharpening claws on speaker cloth is found in the speakers forum; the thread about preventing cats sleeping on warm amplifiers is in the amplifiers forum; but this thread can be the home for your cute photo of your cat asleep on your preamp or playing with your cartridge as if it's a mouse.

I recently visited a friend of a friend; said friend breeds Maine Coons, this colour is "Ice".  My goodness they are big cats.

I love Maine Coons. Will definitely be my next cat.

George is our cat, he was a stray that a friend couldn't keep so we took him. Not sure how old he is, we figure he is around 9 or 10.post-113906-0-93721200-1437314171_thumb.post-113906-0-15858800-1437314240_thumb.post-113906-0-08719600-1437314387_thumb.post-113906-0-83078500-1437314563_thumb.

This is Mr Bo Jangles, a super little bloke that is the easiest pet to live with that we have ever had.

And one of his best qualities, is that he never goes near any of the hifi gear.

I tried to do some clumsy red eye filtering on that shot, this is a better indication of what his eyes are really like.

Yep he's a Ragdoll and gets on very well with the dogs. Not worried by anything.

OK this is one from when he was a kitten and the dogs weren't terrified of him.

He used to be so tiny.

This would be Panther.  A very lazy and affectionate cat, loves people but always (and I mean always!) gets in fights with other cats.

He caught some flack for this pic, he's not allowed on the beds.  He has never been allowed on the beds, but of course that doesn't stop him.
