Item: McIntosh MC 275 VI stereo/monoblock valve amplifier

Location: Melbourne

Price: $5,300 plus freight/insurance

Item condition: Excellent, as new (bought 3mths ago from Melbourne dealer)

Reason for selling: Surplus to needs

Payment method: Pick up - cash, bank transfer

Extra info: This is NOT the same amplifier listed in April.

In as new condition both cosmetically and operationally with original manual, accessories, valve cage (unused) and packaging - not a blemish. Rated at 75w in stereo mode, but actually achieves 90w (should you buy a second MC 275, a pair used together, switched to mono mode will produce 180w into 4 or 8 ohms). KT88 output valves. Amp has only had light use only and all valves are the original McIntosh supplied valves. RRP $9,495.

This is "the" McIntosh amp of all time They may have some that are rated as better like the 2301's but these come close at less than half the price. They are very easy on tubes so the life of them is very generous with the circuitry in built for this very purpose. They are some serious power for tubes too!
