  • These speakers are a top of the line model from Spendor.
  • We are not in a hurry to sell but will let them go for a reasonable offer in order to fund another purchase.
  • I have a very large open plan living area and I feel they are not quite right for my amp and the 85 square metre space.

  • I have had them for only 3 weeks, purchased from the importer, Audiofix in QLD.
  • They come with the remainder of new warranty.

  • More pics available of actual speakers later this week.

"The Spendor ST is a distinctive high performance loudspeaker for discerning individuals. Beautifully styled with a gently curved shimmering black piano lacquer cabinet, the sophisticated modern look and individual character of each ST is enhanced by a luxurious fascia inlay.

For the ST we developed a new Spendor 18cm Kevlar composite cone bass driver and a new 18cm polymer cone bass-mid driver. Combined with a wide surround 29mm tweeter and meticulously refined crossover network, the result is outstanding sound quality and superb technical performance.

Down to the last detail the ST is engineered without compromise. From the machined steel stabiliser disks to the proven Spendor linear-flow reflex system, the sound is seamless, controlled and consistent.

I once lusted after these or the big PMC's, I'm glad these are black as I just don't deal with black speakers full stop which has saved be so  so many times recently.

@@jackrinse How much do they weigh Jack and what are the boxes, just cardboard or are they wooden? Potential buyer might be interested in that factoid.

Glad you posted those. I've highlighted them because I couldn't read your lift from the website.

i never realised they are actually a small-ish speaker, not even a metre high! I'm gobsmacked. As long as my bum points to the ground I'd of never classified these as small-ish speakers.....and they are indeed.

Thank goodness from my perspective that they are dressed in black and so I'm very very safe from their allure.

26kgs?  Pfft! Lightweight and hence worth much more consideration from anyone after a small footprint/Big presence speaker.

Glad your know where near me Jack.

There was no activity in this thread so I thought I would put them out there on Ebay.

No doubt I will be taking a hit on these but fingers crossed the price will get closer to what I paid for them.

Anyone on here taking part?

Yes, thanks for asking. Sold to a chap who came to view today. They sounded fantastic actually. I think he will be very happy.

Don't think he was a forum member, forgot to ask as he only.mentioned the eBay auction. Maybe he can keep us posted if he is a member. I would be keen to know how he goes running them with his Krell amp.
