Hi all!

I have a friend that owns a '70s AKAI integrated amp with sentimental value to her. It's apparently in working order, but the volume knob is a bit iffy...

She's asked me to see if I might track down some recommendations for people/businesses that might be able to take a look at it and do any minor restoration/fixes. She's willing to ship anywhere, so geography isn't a problem.

Anyone have some advice?

Hi Jason,

Skippy on these forums previously did a great job servicing an Akai AM-2850 for me and is highly recommended and in Sydney. As much as @skippy is first and foremost, a Sansui tragic, he has talents that are extremely effective for the likes of Akai and all the other vintage jobbies! :thumb:
