As I say below I am unable to complete this project so I am interested in any reasonable offers for these potentially excellent loudspeakers. ( Still cant manage to get the pictures to appear right way round ) Item: NaO Note Dynamic Dipole Loudspeakers ( partially built )Location: LornePrice: $ 850 Item Condition: GoodReason for selling: Unable to complete this project.Payment Method: Pick up and payment details negotiable. Extra Info: These open baffle loudspeakers are designed by John Krevkovsky ( see www.musicanddesign.com ) who is a (the? ) leading designer in the area of open baffle dynamic driver loudspeakers. Unlike the great majority of open baffle speakers the NaO Note is designed as a true dipole . I built these speakers in trial form a couple of years ago and then took them apart to rebuild in a better way. Unfortunately I am unable to complete the rebuild. In trial form they were excellent sounding speakers. They could only improve with the new baffles which are a bit better braced and especially with the crossovers properly put together. The panels are sprayed gloss black by a local furniture maker. There is a full set of the specified drivers : 4 x SEAS ER18 RNX ( $400 US ) , 2 X Scan 10 F ( $190 US ) , 2 x BG Neo 3 planar tweeter ( $150 US ) plus freight. There is one crossover in working trial form ( pictured ) and one that has been largely disassembled. Crossover parts are good quality : Solen caps in parallel, Clarity Caps PX ,and on the tweeter SA, in series. All air core coils. Total cost of crossover components about $ 450 US plus freight. Also included is Mini DSP in a box with correct programming and build manual from John Krevkovsky To complete this system you need a woofer system. I have successfully used 2 sealed woofers with SEAS L26 ROY drivers. I would sell these to anyone interested or any one of a number of alternative woofer systems designed by John K could be built. Total cost of drivers , crossovers and MiniDSP is now around $ 1300 US plus freight. ( $ 1600 A ? ) Pictures: Sorry about the sideways pictures but I am sure you get the idea. Cheers Mike
