ochremoon Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 @@chimchimster regarding high tide and green grass, are you sure it's 1965? I thought it wasn't released until 1966 and discogs lists the 1st Japanese release as 1976.

soundfan Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Someone should pick up that Queen "Jazz" album. A great album, and a steal at $10. But........ if it's a 1978 release like this one: http://www.discogs.com/Queen-Jazz/release/2367299 , it may be a MONARCH pressing which generally sound great. I know the OP's listing says 1980, but maybe he erred in the year of release? Discogs shows that cat number Elektra ‎– 6E-170 as being a 1978 release. Not sure it has the great poster included? : FWIW.......... I have the Aust 78 gatefold release with the poster, and it sounds fabulous. Nearly tempted myself.

The label does have MON under the word STEREO and 6E-170. The run-out is etched 6E-166-A-6-MW then RTB-7. Bit it is not crossed out. The gate fold cover is printed with 6E-170. The jacket is printed 6E-166. There is no poster. What is it?

Bet it sounds good though, I might research more tomorrow just for interest sake. Good luck with your sales, some fine records there.
