Guest Peter the Greek Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 A two part documentary about Australian rock in the 60's and 70's, with a major focus on Albert Productions. Started last night. Really well done, very enjoyable - as good as "Love is in the air" and the Abba one the ABC has done http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/blood-thunder-the-sound-of-alberts/DO1404H001S00 Check it out

Darren69 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 What an awesome couple of shows. I forget how bloody wild we all were, haha, the kids these days? Pfft. No youtube etc either, to get you in trouble. All only memories the next day. Now get off my lawn.
Guest Peter the Greek Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 What an awesome couple of shows. Yep 100%. I had a smile on my face from start to end. How friggin awesome was it. I'm going to watch is again on the weekend. But as I said, if you like this check out Love if in the Air - equally awesome if you haven't seen it
Guest Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Good show. I love how the Aussie sound was largely crafted by a bunch of scots and a dutch bloke. Always like seeing old footage of the likes of AC/DC. Angus was such a little runt back when they started out. Bon Scott running around in short shorts in London with a banana....gold. The clips from the recording sessions in the studio are amazing. Any wonder their albums are so raw when they rocked out just as hard in studio as on stage. ^_^
Guest Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 OT Pretty sure Pantera recorded their Vulgar Display Of Power album mostly as single-takes to get that "live" feel. /OT
Tony ray Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Great show loved it some great footage. grew up in that era and that pub scene. Didn't think it was that wild back then but it wouldn't happen these days. On another note went looking for AC/DC Jailbreak 74 at JB and it was in the heavy metal section. Its only Rock n Roll but I like it
arthur63 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 It's available on DVD and Blu ray, but I haven't found any info on whether there are any extras.
