dwbasement Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Hi all, I have posted a thread about bedroom all in one system for my little son's bedroom couple of days ago. I have been offered by synergy audio a used one+ with a pair of new SX-50, I wasn't gonna get speakers but the one+ is $349, and with the speakers is $450, is it worth getting the package with the speakers? Original setup for this package was with the sx-30, 50 is a bit bigger I think but I know nothing about cambridge's speakers... Any suggestion? Cheers Dennis Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
betty boop Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 don't know about cambridge speakers but he one looks like a nice unit even a dab+ tuner wow ! 1
rantan Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I am not familiar with "The One" or the speakers, but given the type of product it is, the speakers would need to be really crap to not be worth $100 extra and they would likely be well suited to one another. It will also save you looking around for cheap speakers that may or may not work well with the electronic unit 1
dwbasement Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 Thanks guys, I think I will get them, rrp is 1250, say street price is 900 so that's 50% off, why not! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Guest thathifiguy Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 If you can, get the their Aero 2 speakers, they are larger, but efficient, easily driven by the One+ and will sound much better.
dwbasement Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 (edited) thanks Tarkan, Aero 2 would cost extra $600, not worth it with the one+, and for that money I wouldn't get the CA speakers anyway. btw, I bought the package last nite, will see how it sounds like in a bedroom. It's for my 2 yr old son, his first mini hifi! : ) Edited June 25, 2015 by dwbasement
Guest thathifiguy Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Haha! If that's the case, I'm sure it will be fine! =)
