Cover has only the slightest wear from impressions. Record plays perfectly with no noise. Plain white inner. Also comes with ‘Brian Wilson Presents..The Pet Sounds Tour’ 20 page full colour concert program from the AUS tour, and the Sub Pop 1996 released US 7†single in p/s, licenced from Capitol to Sub Pop as a taster for the Pet Sounds Sessions box set. All in lovely nick and a beautiful set. $30 ** Darkaub ** Paul McCartney – Choba B CCCP – Russian DMM original (A60 00415 006). VG+/VG++. There are sooo many pressings of this album, so I’ll let you decide which one is the one you want. This has the white labels with black print, and according to eBay sellers, is ‘1st press’. How they can figure that is beyond me. 13 tracks in total. The cover is great except for some ringwear dirt on front, corner bumps, and some more rubbing on the back. Looks pretty good though. Sound quality is excellent throughout with very little noise anywhere. Record looks new. $15 Paul McCartney – Choba B CCCP – Russian DMM original (A60 00415 006). VG++/VG++. This one has the red labels with black print. 13 tracks in total. This cover is a heavier stock I’d say. Cover is great except for a price sticker shadow on front at top right, else clean and white. A little rubbing on the back. Sound quality is excellent throughout with very little noise anywhere. Record looks near new. $15 Generation X – Valley of the Dolls – AUS pressed original 1979 punk LP (L 36856). VG+/NM. Cover is great but for tiny price sticker residue top right front and some light rubbing, compressed spine, else pretty shmick. Original inner is NM. The record is stone cold MINT – never touched. $15 Madonna – Ray of Light – GER pressed 2 LP 1998 original (WE 351). VG+/VG+. Some light edgewear on the spine on front and at the opening, and very light rubbing. One impression long mark (5cm) on the back. Record 1 has quite a few marks on both sides (thanks to careless handling by your’s truly during preparation – wouldn’t that rot ‘yer socks!), but still plays through OK (checked). Some light noise in quieter areas, more pronounced on Side 2. Record 2, meanwhile, looks almost new and has only a few of the lightest wispy hairlines in strong overhead light. Take the double away for (you idiot, Candy!).. $25 ** astroboy ** David Bowie - ChangesBowie (Sound+Vision Greatest Hits) - European 1990 gatefold original (164 794180 1). VG++/VG++. Really nice condition double LP set with both records a hair off N-MINT. Light rubbing marks to the front and fingerprints on the back is the worst it gets for the cover. $50 ** Hensa ** Ennio Morricone – A Fistful Of Sounds – 2LP set from 1999 and Simply Vinyl in the UK (S 125037). VG++/VG++. As new unplayed LPs and lovely cover. Simply Vinyl sticker is attached to top right of the front cover instead of the plastic sleeve. Beautiful. $25 ** astroboy ** Keb’ Mo’ – Just Like You – Special Limited Edition 10†single (For Promo Only – 3ES 7983). VG++/VG++. Contains ‘That’s Not Love/Momma Where’s My Daddy’. Still in original plastic outer. Unplayed and still sealed. $8 ** ozfifer ** Maximo Park – Apply Some Pressure – UK 2005, 10†single. VG++/VG++. Contains 4 tracks. Still in original outer. Unplayed. $8 The Unheard Of – Lonely Tear Drops – French pressed 10†with 6 tracks. VG+/VG++. Artwork by Steve Lines (Acid Tapes, Crohinga Well magazine...). US Acid Psych/Garage with a drugged atmosphere.Cover has price sticker remnants, slight corner bump. Record is unplayed. $8 Various – The King And I – USA 10†with 5 tracks. VG++/VG+. Featuring the bands Afghan Whigs, Magic Donuts, The Earls of Suave, Mondo Paddy? and Empress of Fur. Cover sensational. Record needs a clean. Comes with giant foldout colour “Elvis’ game poster. Track one recorded on 22nd February 1994 for the Radio One John Peel show. Issued in 3000 numbered copies – this one #231. Issued in conjunction with PURR Quarterly-magazine for music, film, comics and literature. $5 The Models – Cut Lunch – original 10†six track EP, with bonus colour poster included. VG++/VG++. Cover perfect but for the usual ‘bleed’ from the ‘Deluxe 4 Colour Poster’ sticker and price sticker. Record is also very nice, probably unplayed. $10 ** ozfifer ** Tin Machine – Under The God – US 10†single (10MT 68). VG+/NM. Cover has some ringwear impression from storage. Record is perfect. $8 LASERDISCS ** Darkaub ** Three Coins In The Fountain – US Special Wide Screen Edition, Stereo, Digital, Gatefold, complete and looks unplayed. $15 Forbidden Planet – US Deluxe Letter-Box Edition, Stereo, Digital, complete and looks unplayed. $15 Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas – US Letterbox Edition, Stereo, Digital, looks unplayed. $15 Others… ** ozmillsy ** Violent Femmes – Hallowed Ground - UK pressed 1984 original with terrific sound. (SLAP 1). G/VG. The cover has pronounced ringwear, wrinkles down the left front from midway to bottom and a corner bend to finish. Strong wrinkles on the right front side too. Splits along the edges of the top and bottom. Bumps along the opening. The back as about the same wear and worries. The spine is also cut into and worn. Pretty beaten up really. No inner. The record is better than the cover would suggest. More marks and hairlines than I’d like, but still shiny and have seen far worse. I'll say a strong 6.5/10 for it, playing with noise between tracks and quieter areas. The SQ is actually fabulous. $8 Talk Talk - The Colour Of Spring - Holland (Benelux) pressed 1986 original. VG/VG+ Front cover has small tear/stains top right front and bottom right front, and water stain in the corner. Spine has lost a little colour. Back has the water stain along the lower bottom left hand half about 5cm wide and some wrinkle because of it. Not too bad though. Nice inner. Record looks pretty good with some light scuffs only and plays fantastically, with little to zero noise at all. $14 ** Darkaub ** Talk Talk - The Party's Over - European reissue pressed in Holland around 1982 (FAME 15 7624 1). VG/VG++. $2 coin-sized tear on front right of cover, owners name written on small sticker on back cover, top right corner. Otherwise the cover is lovely and square, straight with good spine.The record looks to be completely unmarked, and plays strongly and clean with little to zero noise except between tracks. Nice SQ! $14 ** ozmillsy ** Nitin Sawhney - Migration - UK 1995 original LP (Caste LP 001). What a stunning debut on Outcaste Records. VG/VG+ Cover has opening wear, edgewear and torn/buffed spine. Back has wrinkle near the opening, ringwear at top and corner bend at bottom right corner. Used but not abused. Record has many marks in strong light, but plays absolutely powerfully, but for lower level crackle between tracks. So hard to find locally (and never cheap to import either, unfortunately). $40 Talking Heads - Remain In Light - Dutch 1980 original (WBN 56867). VG/VG+. Cover has some strong wear and ripping along top edge, and other slight edge wear on the front.Back is pretty nice but for a wrinkle near the opening and some light ringwear at top. Price sticker top right of the back also. Record looks good and plays beautifully with little to zero noise. $25 Edited June 22, 2015 by candyflip
