Luc Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Came across this link in an article and of course I clicked on it...Wow, I'm glad I did, it's really really interesting. Have a look yourselves>>> Unbelievably alive dead people
evil c Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Yeah - that's certainly an interesting collection of the human condition post death. Strangely mesmerising by it's confronting images!
Saxon Hall Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I got as far as the Chinese lady and then I wimped it.
Luc Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 I got as far as the Chinese lady and then I wimped it. You missed Mallory then. I wonder why they didn't photograph his face?
evil c Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I got as far as the Chinese lady and then I wimped it. Girl !! You missed Mallory then. I wonder why they didn't photograph his face? Could of been the pick axe wound!
gz76 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 You missed Mallory then. I wonder why they didn't photograph his face? No sticks to poke the body with up there. 1
Saxon Hall Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Girl !! Could of been the pick axe wound! Wasn't that Trotsky?
Saxon Hall Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Ice pick Angelo Bloody pedant. Still you are technically correct so I will just have to suck it up. Anyway Mallory and an Ice Pick go together I reckon. He died on Mt Everest. Maybe he fell on his Ice Pick on the way down?

Saxon Hall Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Or maybe he shouldn't have taken more than his fair share of Seal blubber! Who? Mallory or Luc? What did you too get up to on your big trip north? 1
evil c Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Who? Mallory or Luc? What did you too get up to on your big trip north? What happened on my Great Northern Adventure remains in - - - - Though I will say this, who's currently on a weight loss campaign? 1
Super Mustud Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I think I saw Bill Shorten in there somewhere. 2
Saxon Hall Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I think I saw Bill Shorten in there somewhere. Why are people so unkind? He is just a good old fashioned union man plugging away doing the best he can. Just because he is a bit down on his luck at the moment, he could do a Lazarus?
Super Mustud Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 This link at the bottom of the article states dreadful things about Elvis. http://celebsio.com/15-famous-people-who-are-bad-in-bed/?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=referral
Super Mustud Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 You are mistaken SM it was Rupert Ah, I knew it was someone I recognised. I stand corrected.

It puzzles me that people do not always recognise this.
Addicted to music Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Puts a whole new meaning to "I see dead people...."
Luc Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 Remarkable stuff really when you think about it. Do any of you know the stories behind the regicides that were hunted down during the reign of Charles the Second? Vengeance and the need to apply it went beyond the grave and un-interring the ones who had already died so that they could face their punishment was one of the first things undertaken after the Restoration, it makes for ghoulish and oddly compelling reading as they entered the crypt that contains the Tudor Kings looking for them(the Regicides) and what they found down in the bowels of Westminster Abbey. Very much like some of the pics in this article and but also what they did to the recovered bodies once they had them... You did not want to be delivered to Tyburn in the late 17th century believe you me, being already dead helped somewhat as you didn't really feel anything but the living recipients...awful.
Luc Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 @@Addicted to music Quite possibly, but not because of a love of history. You heard of Oliver Cromwell? The main regicide of course and they disinterred him, popped is rotting corpse into a cage and left it to hang in the open on display for years and they grabbed his noggin and popped it on a spike at Windsor Castle(I think) and there it stayed for a hundred years. Fascinating stuff!
