Some guy from Germany loved his Tammy GT-750 but did not care for the cheap plinth. Have a look at is new plinth - beautiful.

I was having a look at Analog Planet and watched the video of Fremer and Chris Thornton from Artisan Fidelity. This Garrard 301 looked not bad on the clip so I had a look elsewhere to find more detail

Birthday cake for my 30th on the weekend just past.

Ooh, that I like. How does the arm work? Air bearing? Sapphire and bit of wire? Servo?

Well we all want a woody.  Wouldn’t mind the turntable either.

Very nice.     Good to see others play older vinyl as well.

Brinkmann Audio's latest turntable, the Taurus. A Brinkmann Bardo on steroids is probably the best description and this set up has the Acoustical Systems Aquilar 12" arm and a Van den Hul Colibri cartridge. By all reports the Taurus is now Herr Brinkmann's most popular deck.

This inspired me to make my own stepper motor driven linear tracker, to see how good it is. I managed to source the same silent stepper motor driver that Dereneville use and it's driven by an Arduino.

A very nice combination with two tonearms that you don't get in front of the camera every day.

The Firebird turntable by Feickert Analogue. In a very rare silver-grey colour. I love this reduced design.

On the left a current Dynavector tonearm with stereo system and on the right a, in my opinion, beautiful Glanz tonearm with a Grado mono system.  Yes, really. It is a mono system. Its owner, a true jazz fan, has a considerable collection of fine jazz records from the mono era. Consequently, he also has two phono amplifiers. The AS Phonolab for stereo, right side,  and the AS Monophonic -TRUE MONO-, both from the German manufacturer Audiospecials.de.

Frontdesign - Reduced to the max-. But on the backside -all what you want-. The full range of cartridges can be connected.  Input Loadings 15Ohm -1KOhm and 47K/66 K. Stereo.

The mono phonostage, left side,  AS Monophonic is even a "true single-channel" phonostage. Not a stereo bridged one with pseudo mono. In addition, a continuously variable equalisation for all mono records of the world market.
I have rarely seen equipment of this clarity. Something like this is the result of a development process lasting several years. Simply beautiful and timeless.
