The Sunday night ambient now spinning thread

Not entirely sure if this fits the genre but Andy Salvanos is an Adelaide busker who plays the Chapman Stick. I have two of his CDs which are so cool and he is an amazing player and composer. I would actually love to hear him collaborate with light drums and perhaps a piano but as it is it is lovely chill music.

I've mentioned Andy Salvanos on the Currently Spinning thread. Great musician.

 

If you like that solo chapman stick sound you should also check out Jeff Pearce, e.g. the Lingering Light album.

Theo Travis - Aeolus -- mostly known as a jazz saxamophonist (working with Robert Fripp, Steven Wilson, Soft Machine, etc) but here releasing a 60 min drone featuring a duduk (a flute type instrument). Noice. Spinning via the spotifies.
