Not entirely sure if this fits the genre but Andy Salvanos is an Adelaide busker who plays the Chapman Stick. I have two of his CDs which are so cool and he is an amazing player and composer. I would actually love to hear him collaborate with light drums and perhaps a piano but as it is it is lovely chill music.

I've mentioned Andy Salvanos on the Currently Spinning thread. Great musician.

If you like that solo chapman stick sound you should also check out Jeff Pearce, e.g. the Lingering Light album.

Theo Travis - Aeolus -- mostly known as a jazz saxamophonist (working with Robert Fripp, Steven Wilson, Soft Machine, etc) but here releasing a 60 min drone featuring a duduk (a flute type instrument). Noice. Spinning via the spotifies.

Imperial Valley V - a longform piece mixing strings, piano, and old 1940s radio samples. This is the fifth in a series of volumes combining drones and field recordings portraying the hard-scrabble life of post-Depression era rural America. This latest installment is more overtly political (timed to coincide with US elections) and so is closer to Gavin Bryars or a more ambient Godspeed You! Black Emperor replacing the loops of apocalyptic street ranters with that of politicians. Of the whole series I much prefer IV and V (being more string based and longform) than I-III (shorter tracks, more metallic drone) but all are worth a listen. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp.

Various Artists - Illuminations III - another compilation from the Dronarivm label, where each track is a collaboration, featuring Andrew Heath, Machinefabriek, Celer, Aaron Martin, etc. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp.

Lamasz & Thme - Chiffons d'azur -- latest release on the Seil label, described as "fragile nostalgia, immersive drone, and magnetic tape". Noice. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp for a limited time.

It's that time of year where guitarist Erik Emil Eskildsen releases a new track each day, a kinda ambient advent calendar. Each is an improvised soundscape performed on touch guitar with various FX, sounding like a cross between Steve Roach and Robert Fripp.

See here for the "Name Yer Price" lossless downloads on Bandcamp.

Pilot Voyager - Grand Fractal Orchestra -- over three hours of improvised classical guitar with effects, and occasionally other instruments. Eight tracks stretching out over three hours. The 25+ minute Dream Phrases On Existence with trumpet accompaniment sounds kinda like a long lost track from David Sylvian's Gone To Earth. Noice. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp.

Have the vinyl box set, but got the download via Bandcamp - cheaper and easier than trying to get it on cd

Playing this CD today, very good , piano with strings and electronics. Very well played and recorded. Slightly dark edge to the music - like a soundtrack to some movie. Think Budd, Eno , Richter etc , but with a sound of their own.

Got mine via Bandcamp/ oscarson label - think you can also get it as a download.

Second CD I recently bought from the oscarson label via Bandcamp. Similar to the earlier one I posted. But additional of woodwind instruments and more upbeat tunes makes for a difference. Again very good recording.
