Hi guys,

I am delivering another very long presentation on the GFC shortly and would like to include a 3 page "Disclaimer" document that autoscolls though its contents before I begin my presentation.

I currently simply flick through the Disclaimer document page by page manually and as some attendees can't quite see the screen clearly, I thought it best to increase the font size a lot and have the document scroll through automatically until it reaches the point at which I can start my actual presentation.

Are there any experts that can show me a tip as to how to do this please? It's only this document that needs to scroll. The rest I control with my clicker device.

Thanks in advance

I'm using PowerPoint v 2007 and can see a tab called Animations but there are no options called credit. There is also no option to add an effect so it seems my version of this software either doesn't include this as an option, it was not ticked as an option when installing or has simply not got it for some reason.

I find this strange as this is a legit copy of Office Professional.

Anyone else have an idea?

Thanks

Create a credit crawl using the Credits effect

  1. With the text box selected, on the Animations tab, in the Animations group, click Custom Animation.
  2. In the Custom Animation pane, click Add Effect, point to Entrance, and then click More Effects. Under Exciting, click Credits.

Tip: To change the length of time the credits are on the screen, experiment with the Speed setting.

Thanks guys,

I had seen all of those tips which I finally got around to using and managed to get it working. (I hadn't selected the text as it exceeded one page and was "floating" off the main editing screen.

I'm still trying to get it to scroll correctly and for a longer time so may still need to break it down into 3 pages to allow the audience time to read it all.

Here's hoping....

Cheers
