Its worth the wait , enjoy the anticipation . :)

A longer wait would be to send the 103 to Expert Stylus in London who will turn it into one of the best cartridges you will hear.

The 103 s a good cartridge with a mediocre needle.

Won't go wrong with that wooden body. And worth pointing out that the DL103R is quite a different cartridge to the DL103.  Same type of stylus, yes, but the 103R is a much better performer all round (and has different output and impedance specs).  I have a DL103 in a wooden body with an elliptical retip by Soundsmith - its very very good, but the DL103R in a wooden body with the original stylus is still better IMO.

Yes, very reliable seller, bought a few things from him too, their price is unbeatable.

I've always wanted to know how the wood is hollowed out. Dremel? Whittling knife? CAD/CAM?

Or is it a secret?

This little bundle of joy arrived today :D

Just putting it through its paces at the moment ,the first thing I noticed was the bass, Its deeper and clearer, Im going to have to reconfigure my subs to suit :D

Then ive noticed better overall definition, With each instrument clearly defined. And this should improve a bit more once the cart has settled in

Thanks to everyones input and help in helping me decide on this cart

And thanks to Duc for the great service and a great product

Cheers
