xsb7244 Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 I can't believe nobody has any comments on a Australian turntable.
pulinap Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I can't believe nobody has any comments on a Australian turntable. Perhaps no one has experience using the TT mentioned in OP.......
didier Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 It's an interesting read, though the writing is terrible - doesn't smack of high quality control.
soundfan Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I can't believe nobody has any comments on a Australian turntable. Have you bothered emailing and finding out price for yourself?
Volunteer sir sanders zingmore Posted October 20, 2014 Volunteer Posted October 20, 2014 I can't believe nobody has any comments on a Australian turntable. Unbelievable !! 1
olderas Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Looks to me like a homemade turntable for personal use, and then a fishing expedition....will make one to order if you are interested. I doubt there are no retailers carrying this TT. Looks great though. Any ideas as to who the reviewers are and where are they from?
heman_ Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Carbon Fibre platter is interesting. Also looks like a Teres
vwo60 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) I just love all the knockers, obvously have no knowlege of machining practice, as a machinest it looks very well made, as for something you would take on a fishing expedition i can how that works, also good to see comment like "doesn't smack of high quality control" you would have to had seen the turntable and pulled it to pieces, measured all the dimentions and clearences and finnishes to make a comment like that, has anybody who made the comment made a turntable themselves, just comgradulate the person who has spent thousands of hours making it out of his love of music and engineering ,looking foward to seeing photos of all the knocker efforts so we can compare them. All the knockers? Where? One person mentions that the writing is terrible which it is and another mentions about it being a fishing expedition meaning quite plainly that the chap has made one for himself and is putting it out there to see if anyone is interested. If they are then at that point he will follow it up, nothing unusual there. Are you Thomas Danvers then? 2
Saxon Hall Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Chill Pill people. Maybe someone knows a bit more about this TT and might care to contribute. It looks good in the photo but hard to judge in reality.
vwo60 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 NO I am not Thomas Danvers, just a person who see people making comments about something that they have no idea about, one questions the QA and another says it looks like a home made turntable for personal use, and then a fishing expedition, I did not even mention the writing. 1
Gremrock Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 If you are after some genuine feedback I can put you in touch with a friend who has one... Costwise they aren't cheap, but then, what is that's worth having..? 1
