TheLoudSpeakerKit Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Hi everyone,We've decided to do something special for the stereo.net members. We're going to build an M4 kit (one to start with) and let people on the forum test them in their own homes for a week at a time so they can hear them before buying a set. I'll post more details on how this will work next week! We'll also be having a competition through Facebook that will give you all the opportunity to win an M4 kit of your own :-) C4 centre channel kits are now shipping along with the M4 kits, and we've been getting some great feedback so far: By: Ross Tunney on 9 October 2014 I bought one of the last sets of the original M4s, and while they sounded excellent, I felt they were a little too 'bright' and so was not quite happy with them. Not so with these new kits - the sound is really well balanced, and bass is excellent for such a small speaker. The kit itself is really well thought out, and thus very easy to assemble. I have covered mine with Tasmanian Blackwood veneer and they look fantastic. I also can't recommend this company's customer service highly enough: Daniel allowed me to exchange the mk1s for the mk2s with no questions asked, and has provided lots of helpful feedback. Shipping is fast and reliable. You can't go wrong! By: Keith Connelly on 8 October 2014 Look I found this kit extremly easy to assemlble.Honestly-I have speakers that I paid over $2000 dollars in 1998 they are still great-But seem to lack something.I have tried out many speakers since 19723 Speakers like KEF ,BOSE.JBL,NATIONAL. Honestly, without a shadow of a doubt,These two little small speakers, that I assembled my self would have to be the best sound I have heard from any speaker I have listen to.Without a doubt! There will also be an official Stereo.net review coming soon! Have a great weekend everyone! :-) Regards,Daniel 1
TheLoudSpeakerKit Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone, Some more details of how this will work:We will keep a list of the people interested in trying a kit out. It will work on a first come first served basis, either post in this thread to register your interest or send me a personal message. Depending on the demand we might pass around multiple kits, but for now we will start with one.We will cover the postage to you, and you will be responsible for the return postage cost. This will be payable by Paypal or bank deposit. We will send the speakers out to you already assembled, and you can keep them for a week and test them out on your system.Once that week is over we will send you a printable address label and have TNT pick the speakers up from you and deliver them straight to the next person. If there's no one left on the list we will have the kit returned to us in Templestowe. We're ready to start taking requests for a try out, so who wants to be first!? TheLoudSpeakerKit Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Ah! that sounds right haha, got creeped out then for a second. I can do that, the best thing to do would be to send me an email so I remember to pack a pair when I come down.
